How to grow a mango Plant-
Mango is also known mangifera Indica. The mango is a Tropical fruit tree, It is belonging to the Anacardiacea family. The mango has a golden Jucy flesh and A Single mango Can live for over 100 years above. The mango often Acclaimed as the King of the fruits.
1. Choose the Right Variety- in our Region, many different types of Mangoes are found and cultivated. Particularly in South Asia, and especially in India, there is an Immense variety of mangoes some distinguished by taste Some by size, some suitable for Pickele’s, Some Seasonal varieties, and some Commercially Important types. Many Excellent varieties of Mangoes are found here with divers name.in India There are Many varieties of sweet mangoes such as Alphanso, Kesar,Neelam, Dashehri Chausa, Amarpali, Rashpuri, Himsagar and many more varieties are available.
2. Select the best Seed- Growing a mango Plant from Seed can be more Gratifying, but Choosing the Right Seed is very critical for success. mostly We Choose a fully Ripe mango. it should be sweet aromatic and soft. and this is a best varieties like alphanso Kesar, dashehri chausa, Langra etc.
3. Select the Right spot or place– selection of Right Location It is very critical for mango trees health and fruit production. The mango thrives in Intense sunlight so sunlight Requirements is very Important, and Avoiding shaded area .it is so important to ensure proper sunlight,wind, protection and space for roots.
4. Soil Preparation- The Quality of soil
is also very Important here. The soil should be of good quality and fertile. in mango cultivation Selecting the Right soil and proper location is extremely critical.sandy loam or red soil work best.
5. Planting- In mango Planting, we first Select good Quality of seeds. Then we place the seed in fertile soil. either sandy or Loamy soil and Lightly sprinkle water on top. After a few day’s, the seed Germinates and Develope in to a sapling Within about 1 to 1.5 weeks, then we can transplant this sapling to our garden.
6. watering- watering Plants is an extremely
essential task. During hot weather, try to irrigate twice daily in small quantities, as over watering is harmful for small plants.This impacts in plant development. Ensure water penetrates to depth of 2 to 2.5 feet.this maintain soil moisture for long periods.
7. fertilizing- for mango Plants, Potassium-rich
fertilizers are ideal. However, Nitrogen and phosphorus are also essential for Plant growth. The balanced Application of all three nutrients in Correct proportions proves extremely beneficial for the plants.
8. Pruning – Pruning is the Method of removing a specific branches or stems to growth for a mango tree and It’s health, shape and fruit production.it is also done correctly Enhances sunlight exposure, airflow and Nutrients distribution
